Huron Title Company's Plant is entering its 40th year...

Huron Title Company maintains it's own title plant, containing an index and records commensurate with records which are kept at the St. Clair County Register of Deeds Office.

Since 1970 Huron Title's records have been retained in-house and are indexed on a Tract or Parcel System. The company also has official copies of the grantor/grantee books, those records cover years 1935 through 1970, including the manual film copies of recorded documents that were recorded with the St. Clair County Register of Deeds Office during those years.

Huron Title is the only title agency operating in St. Clair County, Michigan with an automated or computerized tract index since 1992 and continuing to present.

As of June 1997, Huron Title has been maintaining on its system, digital images of all documents recorded daily with the St. Clair County Register of Deeds. The company has since backdated their digital images from 1997 to 1992 to coincide with their computerized plant.
